Taylor Automotive Family Proud to Support the Blair Museum of Lithophanes at Schedel Arboretum & Gardens

Taylor Automotive Family is proud to support the arts and cultural experiences that make Northwest Ohio special. One of those unique treasures is the Blair Museum of Lithophanes, now permanently housed at Schedel Arboretum & Gardens in Elmore, Ohio.

Schedel’s Blair Museum features what is widely recognized as the world’s largest collection of lithophanes, a rare 19th-century porcelain art form that reveals stunning detail when backlit.

What are lithophanes?

Lithophanes are detailed images formed in porcelain that appear subtle in normal light, but come to life when illuminated from behind. The Blair Museum’s collection includes thousands of pieces and offers visitors an experience unlike anything else in the region.

Proud to support the grand opening

Schedel Arboretum & Gardens has publicly shared that the Grand Opening of the Blair Museum is sponsored by Taylor Automotive Family. We are honored to support a destination that preserves history, celebrates craftsmanship, and welcomes visitors from across the region.

Local news coverage also highlights the significance of the lithophane collection being available for public display at Schedel.
