Tom Cole, a seasoned teacher, coach, and sports broadcaster, embarked on a new chapter when he joined the Taylor Automotive Family as their community outreach coordinator. Cole shares Taylor Automotive's dedication to Toledo and the surrounding area and is thrilled to be part of a locally owned and committed organization.

Tom, the first quarterback at St. John's, has a deep-rooted history and belief in the city and its potential. He saw this opportunity as a chance to unleash his creativity and bring fresh energy to his role. Cole has channeled the same enthusiasm he brought to his career, winning seven Ohio Cable Broadcasting Awards, into his work at Taylor Automotive.

He has made quite an impact by fostering community engagement, such as showcasing local artists' work from Unruly Arts at the dealership. Grateful for this opportunity, Cole, who began his journey with Taylor in 2019, emphasizes his role's rewarding and enjoyable nature.

Tom, recognized in the City of Toledo Hall of Fame and the St. John's Hall of Fame, acknowledges the joy that high school sports can bring to communities and the gratitude that comes with starting anew later in life. In addition to his work in the community, Tom is also an accomplished author of four books. His most recent work, Black in the Pocket: African American Quarterbacks that Changed the Face of American Football, highlights the impact and legacy of African American quarterbacks in the sport.

Through his passion for storytelling, sports, and community engagement, Tom continues to inspire and uplift those around him, making a lasting Tom Cole impact in Northwest Ohio.

Terrance Crosby was born in Toledo, Ohio. From an early age, Terry's parents instilled values of respect, kindness, and manners while also nurturing his drive to excel.

Terry excelled in many sports and earned first-team All-Ohio honors in football and basketball, solidifying his place as one of the most accomplished two-sport athletes in Toledo City League Athletics history. Terry has been actively engaged in philanthropy and community leadership throughout his life, driven by his compassion for others.

As community ambassador for the Taylor Automotive Family, Terry is forging unprecedented connections between communities and organizations, embodying the spirit of local ownership and commitment. In addition to his work in the community, Terry is now a proud author of his recent book,

Do You Have the Balls? In this powerful and inspiring work, he shares his journey from childhood dreams to international athletic success, business leadership, and philanthropy. Through personal stories and life lessons, he emphasizes the importance of perseverance, faith, and giving back to create a lasting legacy.

Mary Helen Darah is a well-known figure in the Sylvania Community. Her involvement spans multiple facets, from her work as a columnist for local publications including Sylvania Neighbors and Perrysburg Living Magazines to her active role in various community initiatives. Throughout her career, Mary Helen has earned a reputation for her passion and commitment to making a difference.

As a community ambassador for the Taylor Automotive Family, Mary Helen is dedicated to creating meaningful connections that foster positive change and growth. One of her key contributions is the creation of the 'Women in the Driver's Seat' segment, where she interviews remarkable women who are making a significant impact in the community. These inspiring interviews can be found on Facebook and YouTube and have resonated deeply with viewers.

Through her work, Mary Helen continues to inspire others and strengthen the fabric of the Sylvania community.

Joan Browne Kose is a Findlay native and has been the Community Ambassador for the Findlay area since 2022. She brings 30+ years of executive business experience in the private, public, and higher-education sectors.

​

As an ambassador, Joan loves building relationships and further connecting Taylor to the communities she loves. Joan has an extensive record of community service.

​

She has been a committee and board member for many nonprofit and community groups in both Findlay and Toledo.

Victoria is an ambassador for our Taylor Kia of Lima Location. She embodies the dealership's values of trust, reliability and community engagement.

Victoria has been actively supporting the local Lima community including conducting a women's lunch and learn series, sponsoring Warriors Way, supporting local school districts and organizing local park beautification with the dealership staff.

​

Her experience includes nearly three decades of leadership at a Fortune 100 financial services company, public school leadership as a multi-term elected school board member, non-profit board leadership, and wife and mother to two thriving young adults.

Victoria's passion is helping others stretch to achieve big goals or overcome big challenges. She is thrilled to represent the Taylor Auto Family in the Lima / Allen County community and beyond!
