New Partnership with NBC24 Brings Taylor Cares Stories to More Neighbors

Through Taylor Cares, we celebrate the people and organizations doing the work that makes Northwest Ohio a better place to live, learn, and grow. That is why we are excited to share a new partnership with NBC24 to help bring these stories to an even wider audience.
NBC24 serves viewers across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan, making it a natural partner as we expand how we share community impact.
What does this mean
This partnership is designed to be a win for our community, a win for the organizations doing the work, and a win for viewers looking for meaningful ways to get involved. NBC24’s goal is to help amplify the great work already happening through Taylor Cares. Together, we are building a campaign that highlights inspiring people and organizations, and connects viewers directly to ways they can support and participate.

NBC24 will spotlight Taylor Cares through two short video series that introduce the people and organizations doing meaningful work across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. You will see highlights on NBC24 that point viewers to go deeper online, where the full interviews, extended stories, and related resources will live on TaylorCares.org and our YouTube channel.
Taylor Community Connection Long-form conversations with change-makers, community leaders, and local heroes across Northwest Ohio and beyond. Hosted by members of the Taylor team, each episode spotlights the guest’s story, the work they are leading, and the “why” behind their impact.
Women in the Driver’s Seat A spotlight series hosted by “Mother Mayhem,” Mary Helen Darah, celebrating remarkable women who are breaking barriers and driving change. Episodes share stories of resilience, leadership, and community impact from women shaping business, philanthropy, and more.
An easy way to find local events and support great causes
Alongside the storytelling, this partnership will showcase opportunities to show up. A new Community Events message will encourage the public to visit our Community Events tab to discover ways to volunteer, attend fundraisers, and support local organizations.
