The Turkeys for Trojans holiday drive was a tremendous success this year, and the Taylor Automotive Family is honored to have played a part in bringing Thanksgiving joy to families across Trojan Country. What started as a community idea between Findlay High School, Great Scot Community Markets, and local volunteers turned into an inspiring display of generosity and support for neighbors in need.
Throughout November, Taylor Automotive Family’s Findlay stores helped raise crucial funds for the effort, contributing $1,500 toward the campaign. Combined with donations from other community partners and extracurricular fundraising activities by students and staff, the program helped ensure that 100 families within the Findlay school district received full Thanksgiving meals this holiday season.
According to local reports, the outreach brought the community together around a shared mission of service at a time when food insecurity is a pressing issue for many families in Northwest Ohio. Beyond the dollars raised, the project brought students, administrators, teachers, volunteers, and local businesses into a unified effort to lift others up, reinforcing what it means to be truly Trojan True.
Mrs. Andrea Barger, coordinator of development for Findlay City Schools, shared that the impact of the initiative went far beyond financial support — it was a chance for community members of all ages to participate in giving. Activities ranged from student-led fundraising drives to neighborhood support and collaborative deliveries.
Taylor Automotive Family is grateful to everyone who donated, participated, and helped make this year’s Turkeys for Trojans drive something special. Together, we helped bring warmth, hope, and a full Thanksgiving table to families who needed it most.
Let’s build on this momentum next year as we continue serving our local communities with compassion and commitment. 🔗 Information referenced from Local News WFIN
