Taylor Hyundai of Perrysburg Hosts The Soul Path Soul Train: Destination 2027

Taylor Hyundai of Perrysburg was proud to open its doors on Thursday, August 20, for The Soul Path Soul Train: Destination 2027, a summer disco fundraiser supporting Soul Path Ohio Inc. and its continued work throughout Northwest Ohio.

The evening brought the community together around music, connection, generosity, and a shared commitment to supporting people as they rebuild their lives. The fundraiser centered around live DJ music, dancing, raffles, food and appetizers, and an opportunity to learn more about the mission and future of Soul Path. Proceeds from the event support Soul Path programs, events, retreats, and community-based recovery work.

A night centered on connection and purpose

The Soul Train theme brought a fun, celebratory atmosphere to the showroom, but the purpose behind the evening went much deeper.

Soul Path Ohio Inc. is a nonprofit recovery community serving Toledo and Northwest Ohio. Its mission is to create spaces of recovery, community, and purpose, helping people heal, rebuild, develop meaningful connections, and rediscover what comes next in their lives.

That work takes many forms. Soul Path currently offers weekly groups, sober community gatherings, retreats, life-skills programming, volunteer opportunities, and long-term recovery support.

Supporting the road ahead

The name Destination 2027 looked toward what is next for Soul Path as the organization continues building its recovery community and expanding opportunities for connection, service, personal growth, and long-term support.

Soul Path’s broader vision includes creating a sustainable community where healing happens through belonging and where people are not defined by their past. Events like The Soul Path Soul Train give supporters an opportunity to celebrate that mission while helping provide the resources needed to continue moving it forward.

Simplicity Sound provided DJ services throughout the night, keeping the Soul Train atmosphere going with music and entertainment for our guests.

Grape Leaf Express of Perrysburg provided the food for the evening. The locally based restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine and catering for events throughout Perrysburg, Toledo, and the surrounding area.

We appreciate both teams for helping us create a welcoming and memorable evening for Soul Path and everyone who attended.
