Taylor Automotive Family Wraps Up Socksgiving With Over 500 Pairs Donated to Hannah’s Socks

The season of giving was in full swing this year during Taylor Automotive Family’s annual Socksgiving campaign. Partnering once again with Hannah’s Socks, a local nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity and warmth one pair at a time, Taylor dealerships across Northwest Ohio stepped up in a big way. Together, the community donated more than 500 pairs of new socks — a meaningful contribution to families and individuals in need throughout the region.

Hannah’s Socks is dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness, poverty, or crisis by providing new socks to shelters, schools, and community organizations. Socks may be a small item to many, but for those without reliable access to clean clothing, they offer comfort, health, and dignity during cold winter months.

Throughout November, every Taylor Automotive dealership acted as a drop-off location for this heartfelt initiative. Guests generously brought in new pairs of men’s, women’s, and children’s socks — and in return, Taylor offered service discounts as a thank-you for contributing. In addition to the community’s donations of socks, Taylor Automotive Family made a $1,500 financial donation to Hannah’s Socks to further support their efforts to distribute winter essentials where they are needed most.

The success of this year’s Socksgiving reflects the spirit of compassion that thrives across Northwest Ohio. From Toledo to Lima, Findlay to Perrysburg, community members answered the call to help. Every pair collected will be distributed through Hannah’s Socks’ network of partners, including shelters, schools, and social service agencies. “Hannah’s Socks reminds us that even the smallest gifts can make a big difference,” said a representative from Taylor Automotive Family. “We are grateful for our customers, community, and team members who helped us exceed our goal this year. A warm pair of socks may seem small, but it brings dignity, comfort, and hope to families and neighbors who need it.”

As the winter months approach and temperatures drop, the warmth provided by these donated socks will help keep feet warm and spirits lifted across the region. Taylor Automotive Family is proud to continue its partnership with Hannah’s Socks, supporting not only Socksgiving but all year long efforts to address basic needs and restore dignity to those facing hardship.
