Taylor Automotive Family Spreads Holiday Cheer with McKenna’s Wishes Toy Drive

This holiday season, the Taylor Automotive Family was proud to join the community in supporting the 11th Annual McKenna’s Wishes Toy Drive, a longstanding tradition that brings joy, comfort, and hope to children receiving care at the Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital and Nationwide Children’s Hospital Toledo.
McKenna’s Wishes began as a small classroom project in 2015 and has grown into a regional movement of generosity. Over the past decade, the drive has collected and donated more than 55,000 toys and nearly $15,000 to benefit children from newborns to age 18 who are in the hospital for treatment, scans, testing, or emergency stays. These toys are added to hospital “Treasure Chests,” providing comfort and brightening young patients’ days throughout the year.
🚗 Local Toy Collection Across All Taylor Locations
From November 24 through December 11, every Taylor Automotive Family dealership served as a drop-off location for this inspiring effort. Team members, customers, and community members showed up with hearts full of generosity, donating new, unwrapped toys that will bring smiles and warmth to children facing challenging moments. Taylor’s dealerships were filled with bags and boxes of toys as the holiday spirit took hold.
To make participation even more accessible, each location encouraged efforts to spread awareness, inviting guests to drop off toys while visiting for vehicle sales, service appointments, or trade-ins. This community-wide effort highlighted Taylor Automotive Family’s commitment to serving families throughout Northwest Ohio — from Toledo to Findlay, Lima, and Perrysburg. 🎄 Joining the Delivery at Russell J. The excitement reached its peak on December 17, 2025, when our team visited the Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital to personally drop off the collected toys. Seeing the joy these gifts bring to young patients and their families was a powerful reminder of the difference kindness can make during the holidays and beyond.
Every toy donated becomes part of a child’s healing journey — a moment of distraction from procedures, a sense of normalcy during hospital stays, and a reminder that the community cares deeply about their comfort and wellbeing.
